About the project

SUGAR Health, run by Sexual Health Nova Scotia and funded by Health Canada, aims to create a virtual registry and warmline for sexual, gender, and reproductive healthcare. It connects people with healthcare providers and offers resources to ensure comprehensive and equitable services. The project focuses on increasing healthcare access for marginalized groups and works closely with various communities and organizations.

The SUGAR Health registry, which lists healthcare providers offering these services in Nova Scotia, is regularly updated and welcomes suggestions for any missing providers. Please let us know if there is a provider we’ve missed!

how to use the warmline

Anyone can access the warmline by calling or texting 1-888-299-2066, by live chat through this site, or even through private message on Facebook and WhatsApp. Our warmline navigators will be happy to share information and help you to find the services you need!
